Sonos Details Changes To Soundbar Software And Sonos App

Today Sonos has launched a public beta for Android users and announce our upcoming software release with enhancements to both PLAYBAR and the Sonos app.

Their upcoming software release will deliver on this promise by improving PLAYBAR’s category-leading sound performance.

PLAYBAR will play music the way it was meant to be heard. Using stereo imaging to improve to the soundstage, along with updates to the EQ and volume balance, so that even the slightest nuances in the music are positioned more clearly, with a more immersive, natural sound.

An update to Sonos' app will allow every family member to add their account of the same service to a Sonos system. Switching between accounts is easy, and up to 32 accounts of the same music service can live together in one Sonos household.

In addition, the update includes the ability to use one search to find anything they want across any source – including the music stored on phones and tablets.

Customers with Android controllers will be able to control their Sonos system instantly and effortlessly, with direct access to controls on the lock screen, too.
