As style packages go, the Elipson Planet M 5.1 certainly pushes the envelope. The satellites' sealed enclosures are smooth and solid, and look great in any of their three finishes of glossy black, white or red...Spin the wholly appropriate Blu-ray of JJ Abrams's Star Trek – a test favourite in our offices – and the Planets deliver a smooth, pleasant sound. Integration between the satellites and the sub is great – they easily steer the thundering Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack around the room. 4/5 Stars

There is much to like about this system. Elipson has put in a considerable amount of effort and the result is a clever satellite that’s unfussy in terms of placement and, thanks to the various mounting options, easy to accommodate. The dual concentric drivers give a rich and natural performance that is likeable and suited to a wide range of material...Clever design and great build; excellent tonality with both film and music material; flexible setup options
